Food plays a significant role in our life, but we must rethink, or re-train our brains to see food in a different way. We must begin to see food in terms of "eating to live, and not living to eat". Humans are notorious for eating anything and everything in the food chain,but to keep Maat (balance) in the spirit, mind, and body, much care should be taken to make the right choices to balance the internal thermostat, or triple heater. That means we must take in foods that are rich in vitamins and other nutrients,this is the Science Of The Kemetic Sacred Life. The foods below have extraordinary healing powers, and these seven foods were the core of healing in our Sacred way of life.

7. Spinach

Vibrant green spinach leaves are a powerhouse packed with all sorts of Vitamins (A, C, E, K, B6), Manganese, Calcium, Selenium, Riboflavin, Iron, Niacin and Zinc. Spinach not only provides the power to fight against skin and breast cancer, but is also a rich source of omega-3 fatty acids. Rich in polyene anti-oxidant falcarinol, carrots have the great power to destroy pre-cancerous cells in humans. A rich source of pantothenic acid, manganese, beta-carotene, dietary fiber, vitamins (B6, K, C) and copper, carrots also help with growth. Additionally, they fight against various cancers like lung, skin and oral cavity cancers. Eaten cooked or raw, carrots are a must-eat item in our daily intake.
